Beth Banham, Speaker
Beth Banham is returning as our speaker this year, and we are so pleased to have her back again.
Beth has a deep love for Jesus, the church, and helping others navigate the messy yet beautiful journey of growing in grace. Born in Jima, Ethiopia, to missionary parents, Beth grew up immersed in ministry and quickly learned that following Jesus’ call on your life is both deeply rewarding and often full of surprises—some of which are pleasant, and others not so much.
For the past 28 years, Beth and her husband, Dan, have led City’s Edge Community Church, a congregation they planted with more faith than certainty. By God’s grace, it has survived for nearly three decades, becoming a place where people love Jesus and others with vulnerability, authenticity, and grace. Their son Grant, now married to Rebecca, carries on the family’s heart for ministry. One of Beth’s greatest joys is seeing them use their gifts of shepherding and hospitality to serve the City’s Edge congregation.
Beth is passionate about creating spaces where people feel connected: to God, to one another, and to meaningful ministry. At this women’s retreat, she’ll speak on “Growing in Grace,” inviting us to recognize the distractions, conflicts, and apathy that hold us back while encouraging us to pursue a life of deeper connection in Christ.
