Missions Projects 2023

Projects for Women’s Ministries of the Pacific Conference are different each year, and always include 3 projects.  The projects this year will span the entire year. In addition, we are looking into providing an online link for donations to these projects.  Stay tuned.

BIBLE PROJECT is a year long effort to provide Bibles or Bible curriculum to those who need it.

THE INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS PROJECT (formerly Spring Missions Project)provides funds for an international mission with a specific need.

THE LOCAL PROJECT (formerly Fall Missions Project) provides funds to a ministry that is more local. This may be a new church plant or a new ministry of the church.

The flyer is available at your churches, but we have also made it available here for you to download and promote to your women or at your meetings.

Here are the projects we have chosen for 2023:

BIBLE PROJECT

One Mission Society – Bibles
Goal: $5000 – All Year Long

Bibles are needed for Church planting teams, pastors, trainers and disciples in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Peru, India and numerous countries in Africa. One Mission Society trains nationals to multiply disciples-makers, churches, leaders and missionaries to evangelize, disciple and train new believers.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

ECAMM and TUTORING CENTERS
Goal: $2500 – All Year Long

MISSION PROJECT – ECAMM is a global missionary training school that trains and sends missionaries from South America into countries that have similar cultures or have limited access to Westerners. Jenny Wolheter teaches English and disciples the young women attending ECAMM. James teaches there and works with the Bolivian Evangelical Church to establish a mission arm of the church.

TUTORING CENTERS – The schools in Bolivia run on a half day schedule. The 3 tutoring centers started by Molly and Bryan Canny and their Bolivian colleagues give hope and help to kids who might be locked inside their home or outside of their home and out on the streets when not in school.

LOCAL PROJECT

Oregon Right to Life
Goal $2500 – All Year Long

Oregon and Washington are currently led by pro-abortion politicians who have gone so far as to promote women traveling to Oregon to obtain abortions. Oregon Right to Life (ORLT) is working to elect pro-life officeholders as well as offering life-affirming resources to women seeking an abortion and counseling those in need.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7
