Izumi Kuba

We are Brandon and Izumi Kuba, and with our daughter Mihoko, we have the tremendous privilege of living and serving the Lord with World Gospel Mission in Japan. For about a decade, we pastored a church in Shimonoseki, a moderately sized city in southwestern Japan. Throughout that period, we saw God at work, in answer to prayer, in marvelous ways. Last year, we accepted a new assignment to participate in the process of sharing life with and helping to train future leaders from a number of holiness denominations at the Immanuel Bible Training College seminary, located in Yokohama, south of Japan’s capital of Tokyo.

While we have only recently crossed the one-year mark in our new season of life, we are becoming more involved in the seminary and the attached church and in doing outreach in the surrounding community. We are excited by how the Lord is raising up future leaders for the Body of Christ in Japan, as well as new workers who are passionate about serving in Japan with WGM.
