I was born and raised in a large Christian family in Sweet Home, Oregon. My parents were members of the Sweet Home Evangelical Church for over 60 years until their passing. This is where I had my Christian upbringing and became a Christian at around 9 years old.

My missionary journey with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) began in the fall of 1992 by taking YWAM’s Discipleship Training (DTS) in Turner Valley, Alberta Canada. This was just the first step and beginning of a lifelong missionary career with YWAM. On this journey I have served in many of the training schools including the DTS and basic

Biblical counseling courses. I had the privilege of serving in Canada, Greenland,

Alaska, Hawaii, Norway, Republic of Georgia, and Moldova. Also, I have staffed, led, and participated in numerous short-term outreaches to Thailand, Cambodia, India, Israel, Fiji, England, Turkey, and most recently to Kyrgyzstan during the summer of 2025.

Since the fall of 2013, I have been serving at YWAM Salem, Oregon. This seems to be where God will have me for some time. My current duties are serving as kitchen manager and immigration administrator. Occasionally, I have opportunities to staff in the training schools or participate in short-term outreaches.
