Missions Projects 2022

Pacific Conference Women’s Ministries

Projects for Women’s Ministries of the Pacific Conference are different each year, and always include 3 projects.

BIBLE PROJECT is a year long effort to provide Bibles or Bible curriculum to those who need it.

The Spring Missions Project that goes from January to June provides funds for an international mission with a specific need.

The Fall Missions Project provides funds to one of our own churches. This may be a new church plant or a new ministry of the church.  The Fall Project goes from July through December.

The flyer is available at your churches, but we have also made it available here for you to download and promote to your women or at your meetings.

Here are the projects we have chosen for 2022:

BIBLE PROJECT

Far East Broadcasting Company
Goal: $5000 – All Year Long

Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) broadcasts radio programs throughout the world. Programs of Scripture reading and Bible Studies enable Christians and non-Christians to actually hear the Word when they are unable to own a Bible and freely attend church gatherings. We will be focusing on countries where Bibles and religious freedom is very restricted.

SPRING PROJECT

Voice of the Martyrs
Goal: $2500 – January to June

Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) works to advance the gospel in places where it is dangerous for believers to live and serve their Lord. Brothers and sisters in Christ suffer persecution in China, N. Korea and many other countries where the government is hostile to Christ and Christianity. VOM provides living expenses for families of imprisoned Christians, medical care for believers injured in attacks and other needs of Christians who are working to advance the gospel despite growing opposition.

FALL PROJECT

Dai Church in Burien, WA
Goal $2500 – July to December

A Dai Church fellowship, led by Pastor Stephen, meets in the Burien Church of our Pacific Conference. The Dai are one of 56 ethnic groups in Myanmar (Burma). In 2020 many members of this Dai Church near Seattle were not able to work because of Covid 19 but any money they had they joyfully shared with their suffering families in Myanmar. Pastor Stephen’s church group in Burien are our brothers and sisters in Christ who desire all their extended family in Washington and Myanmar to come to know Christ as well.

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:6-7
