Kerry Messer is the owner of Sweethaven Lavender, a u-pick flower farm in Virginia that features educational agritourism and special events created to build family and community traditions. She’s a mother of two adult children and a twelve-year-old, who she educates at home. She ministers with her husband Adam, who is a financial advisor and a lay pastor at their church, Christ Fellowship.
The Messer family established Sweethaven after Kerry and Adam visited Sequim during their 2016 trip for the Pacific Women’s Conference. Their goal is to leverage the farm to highlight the beauty of God’s creation and establish connections with farm guests that enable them to share the gospel, such as through hosting the annual outdoor Live Nativity at the farm in partnership with their church.
Kerry is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute School of Youth Ministry and Evangelism and obtained her degree in education with none other than your very own Wendy Bergland.
She’s passionate about studying and sharing God’s Word and greatly looks forward to growing alongside you during the spring conference.
